A lot of exciting things have been happening at Concept Group in the last few months. Bill Thomas, who many of you know, has been promoted to General Manager. Bill brings with him to this position over 24 years of experience in manufacturing. He has particular experience in hybrid package development and all areas of production along with a very strong background and vacuum brazing and machine shop operations. He is well-known in the industry for being creative and resourceful in engineering, process improvement and cost reduction. Besides, being well-liked by all, Bill has been instrumental in spearheading Concept Group’s ISO 9000 certification and is now heading up Concepts AS 9100 certification expected to be completed by year-end once again propelling Concept well ahead of its competitors.

Bill in turn has added to his team a Quality Manager and a Quality Engineer with many years of hybrid package experience.

Steve Dickinson, our new Quality Manager, has more than 25 years in quality control systems and has proven to be a valuable addition to our Quality Team.

Mark DiGiovanni brings more than 20 years of quality control experience in hybrid packages, adding greatly to our team.

Over the past two years Concept Group's business has been growing at a very fast pace and Bill has been adding equipment and people to keep pace. In the last year or so Concept Group has added to its facilities a Mazak C/N/C Machining Center, a Hass C/N/C Machining Center and a Star C/N/C 17 Axis Turning Center to its already extensive machining capability.
