We have experience in machining a wide range of materials, from stainless steels and aluminum, to specialized alloys such as Hastelloy, Monel, and Kovar. In addition, we have the capability and expertise to machine composite materials and ceramics, such as Macor and Graphite Aluminum, among others.

Concept started out as a machine shop, and despite our growth into other areas, our machine shop is still an important backbone to our operations. There, not only do we machine the components of our vacuum- brazed and glassed assemblies, but all of the tooling and fixturing required for those operations. The fact that we design, build, and test our own tooling and fixturing drastically shortens lead time and improves quality and reliabilty.
